2016 update #1 – gigs, plans and more

2016 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Mark Fletcher and Fletch’s Brew. The band rounded out January with a sold out gig at London’s legendary Vortex.

The gig featuring, Laurence Cottle, Jim Watson and Freddie Gavita was said to be one of the band’s finest hours since the release of the concept album ’39 & 47’.

February sees the band returning to their usual stomping ground at Ronnie Scott’s and will also see the band doing their first ever show at the Royal Albert Hall on the 25th of February. Punters are recommended to book in advance here (http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2016/late-night-jazz-fletchs-brew/). This should be a very special evening for all involved…plus a free drink for anyone who can find Hitler’s long lost testicle.

The band are looking forward to releasing live material on Mark Fletcher’s new website and have plans to head back into the studio before the end of the year. Hold on tight…it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
